Johnston Hosts a Blood Drive

Earlier this month, Johnston partnered with the American Red Cross to coordinate an opportunity of a lifetime- 30 to be exact, by dedicating a day at Johnston in which employees were able to donate blood on site.

According to the results of the Blood Drive on February 1st, 2017, a total of 30 patients were helped by the day’s labors.

“The efforts of Johnston are greatly appreciated, and their support of the community blood program will go a long way toward replenishing blood supplies and saving lives, especially during this crucial time”,  said Cory Lawler, Cayuga, Seneca and Yates County Account Manager with the American Red Cross.

The results from the Blood Drive are as follows:

Blood Donation Goal (Donors)  – 14

Donors Registered – 14

Donations Collected – 10

Patients Helped – 30
